Yesterland Farms in Texas is famous for its old-school charm offering guests a true authentic experience of the Wild West. The farms boast of a pumpkin patch, a Christmas tree farm and numerous joy rides that everyone can enjoy. And if that’s not enough to get you excited, there are campfires, field trips, spooky nights, Halloween-themed parties and excursions that guarantee a memorable vacation.
This holiday season, come visit the Yesterland Farms and indulge in the nostalgia of simpler times. Situated in the countryside, the farms are spacious, airy and get plenty of air and sun. It is a great place to cherish the fall and welcome the holiday season.
Here are some of the things that you can do at the farms:
1.Fall Festival
Fall Festival usually starts sometime around mid-September and continues well into the month of November. The ripe pumpkin fields and endless rows of sunflowers add on to the spirit of the harvest season. The corn maze with its obstacles are challenging for both children and adults. And after you are done exploring the fields and farms, you can refresh yourself with a glass of sweet lemonade at the food counter.
2.Field Trips and Excursions
Yesterland Farms organises 3 field trips for school kids at the farms. You’ll have to register online to book a seat for these excursions. The children are accompanied by a team of teachers and supervisors. In these trips, kids are given a tour of the pumpkin fields, the animal farms and the nearby corn maze. In winter, the organisers arrange a jaunt to the Christmas fields where they learn all about how the trees are cultivated.
3.Bunnypalooza
Bunnypalooza celebrates the spirit of Christmas in true Texan style. Families can enjoy exciting park rides, take part in treasure hunts, find out Easter eggs, and check out live duck races, chicken shows, and candy cannon blasts among other events. These events are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 3:30pm.
4.Christmas Playland
Christmas Playland is where you can have your pick from a range of tall lush green Christmas trees to take back home. As of now there is an entry fee, but the playland will be accessible to all for free from November 23rd. Get photos with Santa Claus, buy trinkets and decoration items and fresh flowers or take a stroll down the snow-covered Christmas forests - there is never a dull moment here at Yesterland.
